ROCK STAR RECIPES INVITED TO ATTEND NZ DIGITAL MEDIA CONFERENCE

Rock Star Recipes was one of 17 New Zealand companies invited to participate in the X|Media|Lab workshop in Wellington the last weekend in May 2008.

The Wellington Lab was an incubation pod and think tank workshop designed to bring together New Zealand’s best up and coming digital media professionals to work on their project ideas with a range of the world’s best digital media experts.

The theme of the two day workshop was “Commercialising Ideas” Some of the world’s best informed experts, VC’s and business analysts were there to help get brilliant digital media ideas to commercial reality. They were on hand to offer mentoring and work one-on-one to develop new projects and ideas.

JANUARY 2008 -
ROCK STAR RECIPES TAKES PART IN NAMM SHOW, LOS ANGELES

In January Rock Star Recips displayed at the 2008 NAMM (North Amercian Music Merchandisers) show in Anaheim, California. NAMM is the largest music industry trade show in the world and it was attended by more than 80,000 members and guests this year. Rock Star Recipes partnered with Sfarzo Strings and demonstrated the full line of guitar and piano courses.

DECEMBER 2007 -
DELOITTE TECHNOLOGY FAST500, ASIA PACIFIC 2007 – STELLAR PERFORMER

The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific awards represent the regions most comprehensive and respected rankings of fast-growing technology companies. Winners are ranked according to their revenue performance over the past three years. Rock Star Recipes held the position as the regions 185th fastest growing company.

15 NOVEMBER 2007 -
NEW ZEALAND EXPORT AWARDS 2007 – FINALIST, EXPORTER OF THE YEAR, EDUCATION

Rock Star Recipes was honoured to be a finalist in the 2007 New Zealand Export Awards. The awards ceremony was a black tie event held at the Sky City Convention Centre in Auckland. RSR was a finalist in the category Exporter of the Year, Education for its work in teaching people all over the world to play music.

ANZ EXPORT AWARDS 2007 -
TIMEZONE ONE CREATIVITY IN EXPORTING AWARD

Along with being a finalist in the Emerging Exporter of the Year category, Rock Star Recipes won the "Creativity in Exporting" award at the 2007 ANZ Export Awards. The award was presented by Christchurch design agency TimeZone One, and RSR beat more than 20 finalists to take this prize. Pictured right is Simon Waterhouse and Mauricio Evlampieff with the award.

CHAMPION CANTERBURY AWARDS 2006 -
GLOBAL OPERATOR (SMALL ENTERPRISE) AWARD

Rock Star Recipes won award for "Small Business - Global Operator" at the 2006 Champion Canterbury Awards. Pictured right is Ben Edwards with New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark following the ceremony.
